Camp Activities: Natural horsemanship classes, Horseback riding, horse care etiquette, roping, swimming, arts/crafts, games & activities, bible studies, worship time, and building friendships.
Our staff are specially trained individuals with extensive experience in Christian ministry, college youth ministry, missions, hospital care, medical/emergency services, equine management and community ministry through CGO.
is a doctor of physical therapy, pediatric registered nurse, certified PATH therapeutic
riding instructor, and medical missions’ participant. She has worked with
horses since she was 10 and is Parelli Level 1 certified, skilled in natural
horsemanship. She attributes her success in life to God and recognizes her
abilities are best used in service to Him and others.
~Julie Vargas is
a physical therapy assistant, certified PATH therapeutic riding instructor and
was a collegiate athlete for Texas A&M reining equestrian team. She is also
Parelli Level 1 certified, a highly accomplished rider and skilled in natural
horsemanship. Her love for God motivates all she does and encourages her
to give back to others.
~ Levin Porter grew up on his family’s ranch in West Texas. He studied animal science at Texas Tech and received a certification in ranch management through TCU, finishing his studies with his masters in Agricultural Economics from A&M. During that time, he competed in collegiate Team Roping. Levin loves God and sharing his talents with others.
~ Arturo Vargas is an EMT, worship leader for Potter’s Will Worship, and played semi-pro soccer in Mexico. He recently released his new single “Slave to God”. Arturo loves the Lord and sharing His faith with others. He is looking forward to leading worship and bible studies and working with the students at camp this summer!
rode hunter jumper growing up in
Florida and moved to Texas to study health administration at WBU. She has
volunteered for therapeutic riding centers x 6 years and has a heart the size
of Texas that loves to serve the Lord and bless others.
