“Our memory care facility, Bella Groves’, experience at Hope Reins has been nothing short of a blessing. The staff have a heart for the Lord that is exceedingly apparent. Each one of them had a role in making the experience for our residents one that was personal and accommodating. They created an environment where our residents could experience beautiful moments with their loved ones by their sides. The staff here introduced our community to each of the horses present and walked us through how to use each type of brush to groom them. This was a personal and therapeutic time for the residents and their family members. They then took us through the different gaits of a horse, demonstrated in detail how to put new shoes on their hooves, and gave us our own personal horse-show at the end of the event! The staff did a brilliant job of incorporating occupational therapy into our time with the horses as well, utilizing rings and pool noodles. We cannot WAIT to go back. <3”
